A gear centric open raid MMORPG

In Testament of Power, players must work together to navigate a magical maze that exists between time and reality. The game centers around trophies, which show how strong and experienced players are compared to others.

 

These trophies not only help players advance in the maze but also give them special abilities. This lets each player create their own unique way of playing the game.

Lore

Individuals from historical battles are mysteriously pulled from reality and cast into an infinite labyrinth, stripped of their mortality and burdened with countless unanswered questions hidden within the maze's depths. These displaced souls are brought together in the landing zone of the labyrinth, collectively named "The Funnel." Commander Morozov, the purported first-ever "Stranded," takes it upon himself to lead these lost souls out of the labyrinth and seek the elusive answers they yearn for.

Open Raid

In Testament of Power, players unite in a massive raid where all encounters are shared globally, without any instance separation. The journey through the labyrinth towards the exit hinges on the collective effort and collaboration of the entire player base.

No Pay 2 Win!

Despite the fact that monitarization for a MMORPG is very important the idea of Pay 2 Win will not find its way into the game. There is a concept of Pay 2 Keep Up which however still has to be discussed and tested before it will be a real part of the mechanics.

Trophies

In the labyrinth of Testament of Power, trophies take center stage. They serve as a crucial means to showcase your experience and power compared to other players. Trophies also add new abilities to a player's character, allowing for the development of a completely unique playstyle based solely on the acquired gear. Unlike traditional games, there won't be a standard skill tree system in place.

Character Background

A character comes with a historical background that will define a set of traits which give specific playstyles an advantage but do not force the player to go with that playstyle. It's a try to merge traditional class based systems with the trophy based skill mechanics.

Improve Your Attributes

Trophies not only act as visual markers of your triumphs but also carry functional significance. They serve as more than mere decorations, influencing and enhancing your character's abilities and attributes. Depending on the specific trophy attached, you can expect a range of modifications, such as bolstered strength, heightened soul power, fortified armor, and other character attributes.

In essence, the decision to attach a trophy becomes a strategic one, aligning with your preferred playstyle or the challenges that lie ahead. The dynamic relationship between trophies and their impact on combat statistics creates a nuanced and engaging system, where your character's experience is intricately woven into both their appearance and their prowess in the labyrinth.

Securing a symbol of dominance stands as the pinnacle of power against the labyrinth's adversities. By gathering all trophies from a specific enemy category, players can forge a composite trophy, signifying their dominance over that particular class of foe.

This symbol of dominance offers extraordinary attribute enhancements and unlocks a potent skill, enriching players' combat strategies with unparalleled prowess.
